About the Owner
Antonio Portela
Tony is a professional bass-trombonist who has been playing in the Seattle area since 2018. He began working in brass instrument repair in 2013 under the guidance of Dana Hofer (Dana Hofer Brass Repair) in Chicago. After working with Dana for 5 years, and working in brass instrument repair here in the Seattle area, Tony realized his dream of owning and operating his own instrument repair shop with the opening of The Brass Hammer.
